I made one more stop in this very relaxing place before getting to Addis Ababa.
A couch surfer invited me to spend a few days at his chilled venue in Waliso, his name is Wako. The city is 2000 mts above sea level which is about average in Ethiopia and has about 38.000 inhabitants.
I stayed in one those huts, enjoying the country side life on the edge of Waliso city. I tried to visit lake Wanchi one of those days but after waiting more than 3 hours in the bus so that it gets full I realized it may never leave, so that didn’t work out. I did visit a resort full of monkeys and checked out the town a few times.
We spent afternoons with Wako and his friends drinking coffee and chatting outside. Surely a stress-free zone. The pace is about to change as soon as I get to the capital, that lays only over 100 km away.
